New Contactless Debit Cards
02/03/2026
Century Bank and Trust is excited to announce the launch of our new contactless debit cards, offering customers a faster, safer, and more convenient way to pay for everyday purchases.
With tap-to-pay technology, customers can simply tap their debit card at enabled terminals to complete transactions in seconds—no inserting, swiping, or handing over the card required. It’s an easy upgrade designed to fit seamlessly into the way our customers already shop, dine, and travel.
Faster, Easier Payments
Contactless debit cards use secure near-field communication (NFC) technology to make checkout quicker than ever. Whether grabbing coffee, running errands, or paying at the pump, customers can enjoy a smoother checkout experience with just a tap.
Security You Can Trust
Security remains a top priority at Century Bank and Trust. Each contactless transaction uses advanced encryption and unique, one-time codes to help protect card information. The card never leaves the customer’s hand, adding another layer of confidence when paying in person.
Same Local Bank. Smarter Technology.
“Our new contactless debit cards are part of our continued commitment to combine trusted community banking with modern conveniences,” said Cindy Hill, VP of Century. “We’re proud to offer technology that makes banking simpler—while still delivering the personal service our customers expect.”
Ready to Use
Customers receiving a new or replacement debit card will automatically receive the contactless version. The card works anywhere tap-to-pay is accepted and can be used just like a traditional debit card for purchases, ATM withdrawals, and more.
If you have questions about your debit card or would like to learn more about contactless payments, visit your local Century Bank and Trust branch or contact our customer service team. We’re always here to help—one tap at a time.
Mobile Wallet
To enjoy the full convenience of tap-to-pay, customers are encouraged to add or replace their new contactless debit card to their mobile wallet. Once added to Apple Pay®, Google Pay™, or other supported digital wallets, customers can make secure purchases using their smartphone or smartwatch anywhere mobile wallet payments are accepted.
