Century Bank & Trust is pleased to announce the addition of H.A. “Tripp” Becker, III as Vice President, Lending Officer, serving customers in the bank’s Milledgeville market.
With more than 20 years of banking experience mostly serving the Milledgeville community, Becker brings extensive commercial lending expertise and deep local relationships to Century Bank & Trust.
A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Becker moved to Milledgeville in 2007, building both his career and his family here.
Becker brings a broad range of experience in commercial banking, including commercial lending, portfolio management, underwriting and credit analysis. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with businesses and individuals to understand their financial needs, structure lending solutions and build long-term customer relationships. His extensive knowledge of the local market and relationship-driven approach make him a natural fit for Century Bank & Trust.
Becker earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Auburn University and continued his banking education through the University of Georgia School of Banking, where he received a graduate degree in 2011, and the LSU School of Banking, where he received a graduate degree in 2018.
“We are excited to welcome Tripp to the Century Bank & Trust team,” said Derek Williams, President and CEO of Century Bank & Trust. “Tripp brings tremendous lending experience, but just as importantly, he brings a genuine understanding of the people, businesses and families that make up our community. He has spent many years building relationships in Milledgeville, and his approach to serving customers is a natural fit with Century’s commitment to relationship-focused banking.”
Becker is deeply involved in the Milledgeville community. He is a graduate of Leadership Baldwin and has served on the boards of the Boys & Girls Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He currently serves as a Trustee of the Georgia Military College Foundation for 2027 and is a member of Milledgeville First Methodist Church.
Outside of banking and community involvement, Becker enjoys coaching youth sports, playing golf and spending time with his family on Lake Sinclair. He and Robin have three sons, Hugh, Clayton and Mac.
“Tripp’s commitment to this community extends well beyond his work in banking,” added Brian Robinson, Senior Lending Officer of Century Bank & Trust. “He has invested his time and energy in local organizations, youth and families for many years. We are proud to have someone with his experience, character and community commitment joining Century.”
